James lives in West Auckland and has a passion for creative upcycling combined with music. He has an engineering background and works on reconditioning appliances and technology. In his spare time, James enjoys making unique audio systems from salvaged, reclaimed wood.
Each system made is unique in its look and colour. Rustic Audio systems are build from natural timber. James believes in minimising his impact on the earth by using reclaimed/ discarded timber while creating stunning products that utilise resources that have already had another life. Stereos are finished in natural tung oil to show the character of the timber.
James hobbies include playing the drums, woodworking, art and upcycling creatively. James considers himself a creator, teacher and dad.
