Kids Jewellery & Braid Making, Thurs 21 Jan, 10AM-1PM, Freemans Bay Community Centre

For children 5+ (Parents are welcome to stay, no booking required)


In this workshop, kids will learn how to make cords for necklaces and bracelets.  They will reuse beads, buttons, as well as painting on reclaimed wooden laser, cut pieces to design their own personalised jewellery.  


We use discarded offcuts of wood, old beads, wool, and mistinted paint.


Note:

Please remember to pack a morning tea snack and water for your children. 

Wear old clothing that may get paint on it. Bring any old buttons or beads from home if you like.


When: Thursday 21st January 2021, from 10 am to 1 pm.


Where: Freemans Community Centre, 52 Hepburn Street, Ponsonby, Auckland 1011.
