In this workshop, The ReCreators will bring in a variety of colourful wool for kids to pick from and a cardboard loom to weave wool/t-shirt yarn. This is a mindful task that is great for improving finger dexterity and concentration. Kids can weave an image or a colourful banner to hang on the wall.
Note: Please pack food and water for your kids.
When: Wednesday 27 January 2021, 10 AM - 2 PM
Where: Studio One Toi Tu, 1 Ponsonby Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland
The Re-Creators are on a mission to teach New Zealand how to upcycle, reduce, and reuse our resources, to share skills in reimagining 'waste' as creative opportunities! It's not only creative and sustainable but also easy and fun too! We invite you to join us in our skills-based workshops that empower communities to learn the wonderful joy of upcycling, all while helping our planet and pocket by reusing materials that already exist.
