Rewooded is a group of 5 x 15 year olds from Henderson High that I have been teaching circular entrepreneurship via the Youth Enterprise Scheme (YES). They have designed and made a coffee table from deconstructed timber.
This table will be their first sale and will fund their next venture, please share to support!
The Rewooded story:
"This is “Stellar” (of the stars), the first table that Rewooded has created. Our entire team with the help of Buffie from the ReCreators spent time sanding, staining, cutting and drilling the table. This table is made from pine timber from a deconstruction site located in Avondale. Previously this beautiful 6 x 2 timber was a part of a 1960s house, carefully deconstructed by the TROW Group on behalf of Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities
Creating these tables, we have taken wood that would’ve otherwise gone into landfill and turned it into a unique table that is beautiful and full of character. Our business helps to support a circular economy and Kaitiakitanga
By purchasing this table you will make a positive impact in your local community as well as supporting young entrepreneurs. Thankyou for your support!
This is a prototype table and the first one we have put up for sale with its profits going towards the production of further tables.
Delivery extra and to be arranged upon purchase
The ReCreators would highly recommend you follow their Instagram page as its uber impressive how well they have picked up social media marketing for impact.
