Sew Your Own Toy (parents welcome)

This is a beginner sewing workshop for children, they will learn all the hand sewing skills necessary to cut out, sew together and decorate their very own upcycled soft toy.  All materials, pattern and supplies will be provided.

Suited for ages 8 to 13, boys and girls.  Younger than 8 please have an adult with you. This is a wonderful bonding activity for parents to share with as well.

  The workshop will provide the following
  • All fabric, needles and materials to make toys
  • Toy pattern to take home
  • Step by step guidance on how to put pieces together
  • Sewing tips and tricks
  • Personal attention where required
  • Where to extend yourself further
