The Re-Creators Charitable Trust board meet monthly to guide governance with a focus on health & safety, employment, finance and funding.
Our team have a variety of different backgrounds both in community and corporate to help navigate our creative, sustainable journey.
Cherie has been self-employed for many years and also works part time as a property manager for Frankton Park, a residential and in-home community care, rehabilitation and support services for people with traumatic and/or acquired injury. She is passionate about creativity and community. She is the mother of two boys and one girl.
Heather is a freelance qualitative researcher and strategist. She has been with the board since the beginning and has followed The ReCreators journey since inception. Heather is a mother of three boys who are born makers and explorers.
Michele is the Collaborations Broker for Kai West, local food resilience network. She is a public health registered nutritionist and has developed her professional experience in food systems, community development, systems change and research. Michele is passionate about community wellbeing and local food systems, where it’s easy for people to access kai that is good for their health and the environment. She is also a mother to two girls.
Nat Rose (Ngāti Porou, Tainui) is the Nature Team Leader for EcoMatters Environmental Trust. She has previous experience in community and waste reduction work. Nat Rose is a multi-talented weaver, music maker and all things DIY. She is a mother to three boys.
Tina is the Finance Manager at EcoMatters Environmental Trust. She has an extensive finance, payroll and administration background, working within a variety of businesses across the corporate and non-profit sectors. Tina uses her passion for numbers in supporting the environment of Aotearoa. She is a mother to two adult men.
